Appointments
We try to organize the office around scheduled appointments to minimize waiting time, as we feel your time is valuable. However, if you need to be seen urgently, please call and we will do our best to see you promptly the same or the next day. Please keep in mind; multiple symptoms/issues may require additional visits.
If you are unable to keep the scheduled appointment, please notify our office within 24 hours before the appointment to allow us to open that appointment time for another patient.
Telephone Calls
We welcome telephone calls concerning medications and health related matters. Please realize that it is not always possible to practice responsible medicine over the phone without the benefit of seeing you. When you call, if you get message machine, please leave your name, phone number and a brief message as we are assisting other patients and your call will be returned. Non-urgent telephone calls will be returned at the end of the business day, unless acute clinical matters delay Dr. Loesch.
If you are calling urgently for Dr. Loesch during business hours, please contact the office.
If you know the name of the person you wish to reach, you can dial the extension at any time.

Prescription Refills
Please contact your pharmacy for all refill requests. Your pharmacy will then fax us a refill request. If you are requesting a new prescription or if you are switching pharmacies, please contact the office and leave the request on our prescription refill line. Your refill request may require a follow up appointment. Please allow 24 - 48 hours from time of your request to the pharmacy for refill requests to be processed. Please plan ahead, so you will not run out of medication. Of course urgent requests do come up at times. We will handle these requests accordingly.
Controlled Substance Medications
Medications that are considered controlled substances must be ordered through the office. Please call the office, and use extension 5 to leave a message with your name, date of birth, the name of the medication and dosage information. We will process these requests and call you when your signed prescription order has been sent to the pharmacy of your choice.

Your medical record is confidential. It will not be given to anyone without your written consent. You must sign a release of information form before we can release your medical records.
